Animations and microinteractions are what make your designs go from amateur to PROFESSIONAL. They can be rewarding, informative, delightful. They can make your app seem more elegant and expensive. They will also help you level up as a designer and get more senior UX positions!
If you pay close attention to the world’s top apps, you’ll see that motion is utilized EVERYWHERE. No app actually looks like static images stitched together with hot-spots in Invision.
This course will teach you the fundamentals of motion, and how motion can express positive emotions, errors, rewards. I’ll show you how to think about UI design *across time* and create storyboards for your ideas. We’ll discuss the Hook model, and how you can use microinteractions to reel your users in to keep coming back again and again. Then we’ll build! Picking up from where we left off in Flinto during the Ironhack UX 9-week bootcamp, we’re going to make our ideas come to life on the screen.
What you’ll need Flinto. Prior experience in Flinto is highly recommended. If you are new to Flinto, I recommend you try out these Flinto tutorials on Youtube before this class.
