SolarHour partnered with Snowflake to produce an explainer video for the launch of the Snowflake Data Exchange, delivered by VP of Product Christian Kleinerman and VP of Customer & Product Strategy, Matt Glickman. The goal was to clearly articulate a foundational shift in how organizations share, acquire, and monetize data, and elevate the video’s energy to a Tier 1 launch.

SolarHour led narrative development end-to-end, working closely with Snowflake to script and structure the story around live, governed data sharing. Through detailed storytelling and animation, we translated abstract platform concepts — secure data sharing, real-time access, zero-copy architecture, and monetization — into a coherent visual system. Complex ideas like shared databases, live pointers, and governance controls were expressed through precise animation and sequencing designed to be immediately legible to both technical and executive audiences.

The result is a clear, authoritative explainer video that Snowflake used to publicly introduce the Data Exchange as a new category of data collaboration.
