Optimizely had built an extensive data pipeline pulling from numerous external systems into its data warehouse, but maintaining those pipelines had become time-consuming and operationally heavy. The story needed to clearly communicate both the technical challenge and the business impact—without overwhelming a non-technical audience.

We worked with the Fivetran team to shape the narrative, focusing on why Optimizely evaluated multiple ETL vendors, what ultimately drove their decision, and how improved reliability and customer support changed the day-to-day reality for their data teams.
